A small company dies of a thousand untracked things: contracts, payroll, compliance filings, vendor renewals, the hiring pipeline nobody updates. You will be the person who makes the company run so the builders can build — with real authority, not a coordinator title.

What you will do

Own everything operational: finance ops, payroll, vendor management, legal coordination, and the company calendar of obligations that must never be missed.

Build the hiring machine — pipelines, scheduling, candidate experience — for a team that hires slowly and cares enormously.

[03]

Run Bengaluru on-the-ground reality: the office, the registrations, the things that only exist in person.

[04]

Set up the financial reporting a serious seed-stage company should have, then keep it honest.

[05]

Be the founder's load-balancer: take ambiguous problems, return solved ones.

What we need

[01]

4+ years in startup operations, chief-of-staff, or founder-adjacent roles where you owned outcomes.

[02]

You have run payroll, negotiated a vendor contract, and chased a compliance deadline — in India, ideally.

[03]

Spreadsheet fluency that borders on the unreasonable.

[04]

Discretion. You will see compensation, legal, and personal matters; the role only works if everyone trusts you completely.

You finish things. We will ask for specific examples of things you finished.

Experience with Indian company compliance (MCA, GST, TDS) specifically.

You have been through a fundraise from the inside.

You have hired for technical roles before.
